One Love: A Sorcerer Hunters' Valentine Fic

(It's that very special time of year for lovers worldwide known as Valentine's Day and for Carrot Glace, leader of the Sorcerer Hunters, he's getting ready for the biggest moment in his and any man's life, bigger than any battle he and the other Hunters have ever faced: to propose to his fellow Huntress, longtime friend, and most importantly his lady love, the oldest of the Misu Sisters, Chocolate).

Carrot: Yo Marron, this is it man.

Marron: What do you mean, brother?

Carrot: As you know, I used to incessantly chase hot girls all the damn time and ignore Tira & Chocolate around me; not to mention me getting my ass whooped by them. Anyway, since I’ve been with Chocolate, I’ve already seen that she’s the one for me.

Marron: I’m glad you’ve seen the light brother. Tira & I have been going steady for some time now and she is truly the most beautiful girl I’ve ever known.

Carrot: Same with Chocolate. She’s too special for me to let go. I’ve been running away from her for too long while she continued to pursue me even when I openly lusted after other girls right in front of her & Tira.

Marron: Yes we’ll never forget those days now will we?

Carrot: Yeah but I’ve come a long way since. Also I’m glad to see that you & Tira have hooked up ‘cuz I was starting to worry about you being, you know, not on the right team.

Marron: Well worry no more, brother.

Carrot: Yeah ‘cuz Gateau was hounding your ass for I don’t know how long and there were times you wanted to “feel pretty.”

Marron: Yes I’m glad that Gateau has gone straight, but about you and Chocolate, what are you going to do tonight?

Carrot: My dear baby bro, it’s the decision that unsettles just about every man in moments like this.

Marron: You mean…

Carrot: That’s right. I’m going to propose to Chocolate Misu. I want her to be my wife.

Marron: Are you sure, brother?

Carrot: I’m damn serious this time, Marron. I want Chocolate with me forever.

Marron: Well I never thought I live to see the day. You’re taking a very big step in your life, brother.

Carrot: No Marron, it’s a giant step in our lives.

(Meanwhile, the lovely but lethal Misu Sisters also discuss their relationships with the Glace Brothers).

Chocolate: My darling is absolutely the best man I’ve known.

Tira: So is Marron. He’s so sensitive yet firm and dedicated to his mission.

Chocolate: He is, isn’t he? However, I’m glad Darling changed his ways and gave up ignoring us for his skirt-chasing antics.

Tira: I hear you although I kinda miss those days, but not too much.

Chocolate: I’m real happy for you & Marron. I think you two make a real cute couple.

Tira: And I’m just as happy for you and Carrot. I can’t believe he finally ditched his bachelor life for good.

(A letter then arrives and it’s for Chocolate)

Tira: A letter? What does it say, sis?

Chocolate: It’s from Darling. He’s inviting me to a special rendezvous and it’s quite serious.

Tira: You know what this means… it means Carrot might wanna…

Chocolate: Might wanna what, Tira?

Tira: You’ll find out.

(Chocolate instantly got dressed in a very beautiful red and blue dress and headed for the rendezvous designated by Carrot)

Chocolate: Darling? Where are you? I got your letter so come before I have to whip you out.

Carrot: There’s no need to, Chocolate.

(Carrot appears in a very handsome tuxedo as he descends from the stairs.)

Carrot: As usual Chocolate, you just look stunning. I mean you could stop traffic in that dress.

Chocolate: Really darling?!

Carrot: Hell to the yeah. Now, behold.

(Carrot claps his hands and on cue, the lights dim for romantic mood. Also, as if on cue, the R. Kelly joint, “Step In the Name of Love”, comes on. Carrot & Chocolate begin their dance with Carrot appropriately leading. Chocolate was completely swept off her feet and enjoyed every moment).

Chocolate: Darling, you danced divinely.

Carrot: Really, cuz I thought I had 2 left feet. (Laughs briefly) Anyway, Chocolate, the reason I invited you here was to ask you something.

Chocolate: What is it, darling?

Carrot: Chocolate, all these years we’ve known each other and have fought alongside each other against sorcerers, made me realize that all those times I ran from you & Tira all to fulfill whatever juvenile fantasies I had, were just absolutely foolish and that you’re the only woman for me.

Chocolate: Oh that’s so sweet of you, darling. You’ve been the only man I’ve ever wanted to be with, even though we had to beat the tar out of you many times.

Carrot: (Laughs) Well those days are over. Now all I see is you and there’s just one question I have left to ask.

Chocolate: Yes darling. I’m listening.

(Carrot gets on 1 knee and pulls out a small box and opens it to reveal a beautiful 14-karat diamond ring. Also, as if on cue, the Jeffrey Osborne classic, “You Should Be Mine (The Woo Woo Song)”, came on. Chocolate instantly went into tears because she knew what Carrot was doing).

Carrot: Chocolate Misu, will you marry me?

Chocolate: YES DARLING!!

Carrot: Really now?! Will you?!

Chocolate: A thousand times, YES Darling!! I’ve waited for this day for so long to finally be with you for all time; ever since we were kids.

Carrot: Now we will be joined.

Chocolate: Oh, my darling, I love you. This is the best Valentine’s gift ever.

Carrot: And it’s not over yet. (Claps)

(Once again one cue, the Luther Vandross classic, “Any Love”, comes on as Carrot & Chocolate romantically embrace and then went into a long, deep kiss. Truly, this was a Valentine’s Day to remember for the both of them).

The End
