"Travis," Leon said, finding him by the riverbank, "how are you?"

Travis didn't seem to notice him at first, sitting by the river watching the water flowing past with Jun. "Oh, hey Leon," he said finally. "Rebecca. How's it going?" Before either of them could answer he added "Y'know, I can almost flip up onto my feet like you can now." Travis laid back on the ground. "Here, I'll show you."

"No," Leon said quickly, "that's alright."

Travis stopped, not bothering to get back up. "Jun can do it too you know. Can't you Jun?"

"Well...yes I can."

Travis smiled. "Better shape than I am. Working on it though." He looked up at Rebecca. "What you up to?"

"We wanted to see how you were," she told him. Travis stared up at the sky.

"Oh," he said after a moment. "You came all this way to find out?"

"Well, we cannot exactly phone you all the way out here."

Travis thought this over for a moment. "True," he admitted. "Jun likes it that way. It's good for me too."

Rebecca didn't like it, he didn't sound like himself. She could see that Leon didn't either. "Are you okay?" he asked.

"Sure I'm fine." The way Travis was bothered Rebecca. "Jun, is he fine?"

"He's at peace, as much as can be expected," she replied after a moment.

Travis reached into his pocket and pulled out a bottle of pills. "It's these." Rebecca took them from him. "They help, you know?"

"I see." She made no move to hand them back.

"Have you tried not taking medication for your condition?" he asked. "And have me turn on Jun like you did when you have that thing inside you? No thanks." Travis brought himself up to a sitting position. "Y'know I heard about some kittens being found buried alive. Might get one of them and name it after that girifriend of yours."

Leon scrunched up his face at that. "Humph, thanks for reminding me."

"She likes you, you know." It was good to see that Travis was acting more like himself now, but Leon didn't want to talk about it.

"How's your training?" Leon asked, changing the subject.

"It's going alright." Travis paused for a moment. "A lot to take in, and I know I can do a lot more than I have been doing."

"You know, we could take you in," Rebecca offered. "We could use someone like you." It was something of a gamble after what Travis had experianced with Interpol, she knew, but she was concerned about the way he was acting on his medication. Leon seemed to be as well.

"I want to be better before I do anything like that," Travis said finally. He got to his feet. "I'm hungry. I'm going to get something to eat."

"We'll get you something," Leon offered. "Here, we'll take you."

"Well, I don't want to be a burden, but...yeah okay."
