"Well I highly doubt Interpol's actions will go unnoticed," Nancy assured Rose, "seeing as how we were going to nuke Afghanistan." She searched around for something. "Still I want insurance, so would it be better to go after this, ah, blood stone, or Interpol itself, you think?" She found what she was looking for and laid out a couple of geographic atlas' used for tacticle planning by the Marines. "Here, you show me where you think we should go," she told Rose, opening the page to Mexico where she said this was taking place and evidently eager to get things moving.

Reiko noticed the fighter jets overhead and figured the bastards would be preoccupied with them to worry about her. She pulled up and ran o the roof of a nearby building to get a better look. She knew it would have made her more of a target, but in a sense that was what she wanted. If they came after her then they wouldn't be destroying the city. As it was, however, it seemed they would have their own problems, as the pair of fighters flew into missile range despite the best efforts to lose them. Reiko smirked, soon this will all be over.

"So we find them then," Nancy said. "The question is, how? I don't really have much contact with either of them." She thought the matter over for a moment. "I might be able to find someone who knows him. They might help. The problem is we're... not on good terms."

"Missile loose! Missile loose!"

"Shit, they're going to kill themselves along with the entire city." The two fighter pilots tried to close in on the nuke, but there seemed to be something interfering with their heads.

"Cannot...concentrate." It quickly grew to the point where they lost control of their aircraft and crashed into the streets below.

"Whoa." Reiko witnessed what had occured, and was trying to work out what caused it when she felt like there was something in her head, driving her insane. "What the fuck is this? What's wrong with me? Cannot...think straight." For the first time in a very long time, she became afraid, especially when she saw the missile. "No..." She had little time to react beyond this when the missile struck. "Ahhh..."

"My God." Sofia would have considered herself blessed to have been out of the city, but seeing the mushroom cloud in the distance, she just felt numb. She watched, horrified as the weapon from hell consumed everything. Slowly coming to her senses Sofia figured there was little doubt as to who was responsible. As horrid a thought as it was, if there was a silver lining then regardless of whether or not they had the blood stone they would have perished in the explosion.
