"Doubt they could help with that even if they wanted to," Nancy had to admit. She pulled the Freelander to the side of the road, knowing something she could do. "Know someone who may though." She picked up her phone and dialed a number, relieved that there was an answer. "Sofia? It's Nancy. Yes, I'm well...what's that you say? Have I heard about Mexico? What about it?" She listened in horror at what happened. "Jesus fucking Christ. It is true."

There was silence at the other end, and Nancy figured she had greatly offended the deeply religious woman at the other end. But under the circumstances there was little else she could say about the incident. Then the story about the blood stone must be true as well. Once she recovered from the shock of what she was told Nancy asked about it. Sofia explained in great detail about what she knew, including some very interesting information she had about fake stones that were about.

"So only someone with knowledge of the supernatural and the occult would be able to use the real one?" Nancy asked. "And the fake ones? They would really do that?" She got off the phone so she could talk to Rose. "You want some good news?" she asked. Not waiting for a reply Nancy gave it to her anyway. "Sofia is certain there is no way Interpol have the real thing in their hands, and what's more it'll turn them all into zombies if they try and use it." She couldn't resist a wicked grin. "That means all we have to do is wait for them to try and use it, and they will, and problem's solved."
