Jill turned from the door and withdrew the handgun she had, a Beretta M92. Leon stood back, thinking she had the situation under control, noticing that Travis instinctively moved in behind Uranus to help if she needed him to. "Nup," he admitted, "never seen him before."

Jill moved in, her weapon aimed at the intruder. "Who the fuck are you?"

Travis decided that now was not the time to make a wisecrack about her imitating Yuffie Kisaragi from the Final Fantasy games and kept quiet, expecting an answer.

"Maybe he has it wrong," Sofia suggested, being able to guess what Adam was saying. "Here," she took the phone from Cammy and spoke. "That what Internet say?" She paused while he spoke, then said, "I not believe rumor, Interpol not like that." She nodded in agreement with Adam about how there were all these stories going around that had something to do with Interpol. "Dah, agree. I see what do for her." Sofia handed the phone back to Cammy but knew that if Adam could tell there was a problem then there was no point in having her go out. Still she didn't want to turn down the idea completely, so she told her, "Ask his knowledge ov Interpol themselve. He may know more than I."

"So what's up with Jessie?" Philip handed over the coffee to Dave as he climbed into his car. As two of Nancy's students they had been tasked with finding the woman. "You said we're meant to find her?"

"That covers it," he replied, his voice carrying a faint Spanish accent. "I tried getting through..." he paused as his phone rang. "That might be her. You wanna take it?" Philip shook his head at the large man. "I think I'll leave this to you." Dave brushed aside his hair that was cut just above the shoulders and flipped the phone open. "What?" he asked, before realising who it was.

"Yeah, what's going on?" Jessie explained how she was trying to find whoever was after the kid who came to her for help, Dave's remaining silent until she told him everything.

"Well?" Philip asked, "Nancy's looking for her."

Dave raised a hand and spoke. "You and this woman Rei knows went looking for who attacked Timothy..." he paused until Jessie said it was LaRoache. "Laroache. You went looking for who attacked him, to no avail?" Jessie confirmed this. "Where is the woman now?" He was told that she was left behind. "Philip will go and find you." He handed the phone off to him and climbed out.

"Yeah, okay," Philip agreed, "but what are you going to do?"

"Inform Nancy, try and calm her down."

Philip nodded, not wanting to argue. "Yeah, she might not know," he agreed, for Jessie's benefit as well. "Okay," he said on the phone, "where can I find you?"

"You," Reiko growled, making the youth jump about a foot in the air, "we need to talk." Before he could recover from the shock she pushed him against the wall.

"The fuck's your problem you fucking cunt?" his girlfriend screamed, trying to intervene, and as Reiko switched her attention to the slag the boy ran off. Reiko began to chase after him, but he was too fast, running in and out of traffic.

"I ain't going to jail for you," he yelled out. "I don't want to fight you."

"You mean you don't want to be someone's bitch." Reiko knew it was hopeless to chase after him so she did what she could.

"Leave the boy alone or we'll come after you."

She sensed his girlfriend coming after her and spun, watching her move past and presenting the perfect oppotunity for Reiko to punch her in the face as hard as she could. As she did she could feel the bone giving way, almost in slow motion, and the ho dropped screaming at the top of her lungs, the sound muffled mostly by the shattered jaw, but she was still howling in pain. Reiko looked around and saw that there were too many witnesses to finish her off, and the police officer down the street told her it was time to run off. "The two of you are my problem," Reiko said to the woman, before heading off down the street.
