Nancy decided that she'd had enough waiting around and storm out the back where the guns were kept when she came across Sakura, trying to walk. That slowed her down for a moment, some of the anger disappearing. Nancy did contemplate for a second throwing the schoolgirl into the pool, as a means of making her fight to swim, then walk. The second past, and instead she helped her stand.

"We're going to go after the people who did this. Okay?"

Philip placed the orders, seeing that Yun was tearing up and handed over the files he had.

"They had a preliminary autopsy on your master," he said, pausing to receive their meal. "His injuries are consistent with an assailant who either knows shotokan karate or was able to mimic it well." Leaving the drink on the passenger side floor, he placed his own in the cup holder before continuing. "Included there are several suspects the authorities are looking at. One is the Muey Thai champion Viktor Sagat, though he wouldn't have a motive and his fighting style is consistent but not shotokan. Another is Dan Hibiki, some crazy type of martial artist who thinks he knows shotokan. Then we have Ken Masters and Ryu Hoshi, but those two are more or less just looked at to be eliminated from suspicion. Ditto Sakura Kasugano, no motive, and wouldn't have the nuance. Alan Snyder, they're trying to establish a motive. And Akuma...if anyone can find him. He'd have the means, the motive, they're trying to work out when he would have had opportunity. That's all I can recall, but I know I missed a few." It was all there for Yun to look through, and having been told what he wanted to hear Philip guessed the martial artist would be in a better frame of mind to eat. "Here," he said, handing the bag over. "Try not to get grease over those files, okay?"

"Carlos." Chavo chose to speak English for Vega and Alex, even though he was certain the former would know Spanish. "You know that the Americans will come after us without evidence."

"What more evidence do you need? Our families are being taken from us and if the boarder patrols are not behind it then they are doing nothing to protect us." Behind him several children came up, one of them armed with a long rifle, the rest with various small arms.

"But we cannot even be certain that they are behind the attacks, and even if they are do you propose we sacrifice the lives of our loved ones fighting them?"

"More and more people are rallying to our cause, brother." With that Carlos got Shaquille to step forward, and Reiko to stand by him. Looking out into the crowd she noticed Vega.

"Carlos, that man," she said quietly. Carlos spotted him as well. Instead of noticing the concerned tone in her voice Carlos called out to him.

"What say you?" He took in Vega's outfit. "Matador. Are you willing to defend us?"

"Carlos' heart is in the right place," Chavo warned him, "but think about what would happen to all of us if we do attack."

"Mina." Albert dropped something in front of the Marine while she was looking up something on the computer, the atrocities in Vietnam he saw. "What can you tell me about this?" Mina picked up the document and glanced over it.

"Ton Lonnings. He was in one of my units in Iraq. What about it?"

"He was with someone else you served with, according to this. Carlita Francesca. Ring a bell?"

"She was in Afghanistan." Mina went to her service history, appearing to look for something then seemed relieved when she didn't find it.

"She has family along the Mexican boarder, near where the attacks have been occurring. Did you know this?" Mina shook her head.

"She was meant to be from Venezualia. Why do you ask?"

"I'm trying to work out why you sent the terrorist down there."

"Because it's the right thing to do, like you're trying to do." Before Albert could answer she added, standing up, "By the way we need to move our prisoner. It won't be long before Nancy comes looking for him."

"In which case we will prepare for her."

"Not here. We need to relocate to where we won't be so easily found. I know a place." Without waiting she went to begin preparations.

"You're the expert. Okay." Albert waited until she was gone, before going over to check the computer she was working on. He brought up a messaging program and typed out a short message. "Mina is heading to shift the boy. Follow her."
