Kairi was punching the bag at the training area at the back of his backyard. He lives with his sisters Hokuto and Nanase, where they all train together.

Strange emotions have flowed through Kairi's blood lately. He has been wanting nothing more nor less than a fight. But he always kicks into his mind and realizes that it's not the way. A craving for battle is what happened to their uncle, Garuda.

Garuda betrayed the way of his life vows and thought of his skills to be needed to destroy anyone. He eventually got completely posessed and destroyed his brother. But the final blow destroyed both of them. However, Garuda held evil in him as he died, allowing him to live as pure evil itself. The consequence -- living only as a strengthless soul. So he haunted a samurai suit with armor. Rumor has it that not only can he perform the ways of a samurai, but he can stick spikes anywhere out of his body.

It was getting late. Kairi decided to sleep early.

Hokuto has been rather concerned about her brother's behavior lately.

(flashback)

Kairi was sitting on the couch, watching a movie (it happened to be Street Fighter: The Movie). He was tense from training a lot. He must have trained a lot, considering that he rarely touches electronics.

Nanase was sitting there with him, Hokuto making sushi.

"Kairi, you look hungry. Do you want some sushi?"

"No thank you. I'm not in the mood right now."

"Are you sure? It's very--"

"I DON'T WANT ANY, YOU RETARDED BITCH!!!"

Kairi slammed the remote at the screen, causing it to shoot sparks. He then went to his room, slamming the door.

"What has happened to my brother?"

"I dunno, but he needs to straighten up his act."

"Nanase, keep an eye out for anything weird going on tonight. I don't have a good feeling."

(end flashback)

The three of them fell to the pit of their concious. This would be a night two of them will never forget, yet there will be another who will...

Hours went by. An unusualy cool breeze swept across Kairi's face. Since he felt like he was slapped, Kairi instantly woke up.

When his head was straight up, he had a mysterious sensation. He felt like... he wanted to go somewhere, but he didn't know where. Maybe the fresh air outside would help him?

Apparently, the air was not really as fresh as one would suppose. The sky was turning rather green, and there was also lightning. Kairi knew that evil has trapped him.

When he put his face forward, he saw a sillouette that he thought impossible for him to ever lay eyes on. The shape was like a demon or something unearthly. When the figure came closer, it was identified as someone in heavyweight armor. The mask resembled a skull in a way, but had fangs. The eye sockets were purely empty, as if no one was in there.

"Garuda. I should have known."

"Heheheh... The son of Hayate. I've always wanted to meet his blood once again."

"Get out of my home, and leave me and my siblings alone or I'll destroy you."

"Is this really the way you want to live? The life of an ordinary trainee? You know what you want, and so do I. Like everyone, you want power."

"Then why don't you pick on someone else?"

"Because you have potential unlike any other. So here's my offer; join me as the most powerful warrior in the universe, or be destroyed from my supreme power."

"Never, you coward! Now get off my property!"

"This means war."

Kairi jumped in the air, planning to kick Garuda's "face" off. But Garuda's timing was so quick and accurate, he effortlessly grabbed Kairi's leg and spun him around. Kairi landed, but it wasn't the end.

"Maryu-Gekko!"

"AGH!!!"

Garuda was smashed from Kairi's rising uppercut, but all he had was a little scratch.

"Very good, junior. But it will not be enough to stop me."

Garuda took his sword and started waving it at Kairi. Unarmed, he could only dodge it. But his pace was slowed down, as Garuda managed to scratch Kairi's face, damaging his eye.

"AAAAAAAGGGGGGHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

"You fool. I'll hurt you more if you don't surrender."

Hokuto and Nanase ran out of the house.

"KAIRI! We'll help you stop Garuda!"

"Ah, your two sisters. I've always wanted to meet you. Too bad I can't stick around. HA!"

Garuda activated a portal-like opening right next to himself.

"Come with me, lad. I will help you."

"No, Kairi! He's lying!"

"Don't listen to that idiot, Kairi. She knows nothing of what you want. Now COME ON!"

"NO, BROTHER! PLEASE!"

Kairi was confused. But after much thought, he jumped into the portal.

"HAHAHAHAHA!!!!! Good-bye, you brats!"

Garuda vanished.

"NOOOO!!!!!!!"
