All star dueling tournament: Part 33

Zane turns his head to see Kaiba looking at him and nods his head. Zane would use the new deck given to him by Kaiba himself to fight Kage. "I will not let you down, sir." Zane turns his head back to face Kage in the duel and draws a card. He was going to play things slowly so that Kaiba could watch and learn all he needs to know about the leader of the Soul Seekers. Zane uses Swords of Revealing Light and then places three traps as well as Stealth Bird in face down defense mode.

"Is he dead?" Crowler crawls over to see a lifeless bleeding Jaden in Alexis' arms. For the first time, he felt sorry for the Slifer Red Slacker. Jaden was not dead but he was in a lot of pain. He was a strong duelist but his bother was extremely weak with getting beaten up physically. Jaden tries to move but couldn't.

Seto continues watching Zane and Kage fight and is impressed with the duel. He gave Zane a super powerful deck that is almost as strong as his own to thank him for his loyalty. Once Seto saw that Jaden could have been killed he came out of hiding and went to the backdoor inside Duel Academy to see if the so called top student of his Duel Academy was still alive or not.

"Zane, stop this duel. It is dangerous. Look at what happened to Jaden!" Setsuna runs to Zane, interupting the duel by grabbing Zane's arm and trying to stop him from dueling Kage. She knows exactly how strong and dangerous Kage really is and doesn't want to see Zane hurt.

Alexis cries as she carries Jaden outside for everyone to see. She yells at Kage and tries to stop the duel. "You monster! How could you do this to Jaden? He is duel academy's best student!"

Zane flips up Stealth bird to activate its effect and then uses its other effect to have it flipped back face down. Zane knows that if Kage sent a monster with such low attack points then it would be a trap and decides not to attack. Instead he sets another face down monster card and looks at the card in his hand. The card that Seto Kaiba gave him which was the most powerful card he had ever seen. Zane tries to activate a field spell card but he was distracted by Setsuna. "You don't understand. I have orders from Mr. Kaiba to duel."

Doctor Crowler helped to carry Jaden outside where it would be easier to get help and he was extremely happy to see Zane duel Kage. This is a great opportunity and distraction for him to use and try to escape the island with his life. Crowler drops Jaden in Alexis' arms and ran for the boats before he was stopped by one of the Soul Seekers. Crowler was so scared that he dropped on all fours and began crying for mercy.
