Sorry about your cat's health. I hope for a miracle with the meds and that he won't have to be put down unless he is in real pain.

Also that animals especially pets are lives that are of great value. Their loss can't be replaced with another especially if it is right after the death

Well, if the meds help him put on weight, there's hope. We're waiting to hear back about his thyroid. If there's no improvement, we don't want him to suffer any more than he has to. Hard decision to make, but if that's the best option, so be it. He's been the best pet I've ever had. Though he's technically my wife's, he's my adopted son, so to speak.

We weighed him, he's nowhere where he should be, but he's put on some. We feed him constantly, and his meds are helping him. Hopefully he can keep it up. He's an old boy, but he's got some fight left in him.
