Today I got the pleasure to meet Damian Chapa, aka Ken from the 1994 Street Fighter movie. He also signed my Steelbook Blu-ray and instructions manual from the PS1 game. You can see the picture of me and him in the Album, under the Showcase section. Enjoy.
EDIT: Forgot to mention. He loved my Ken tattoo, and he asked me for a selfie with it. Really nice guy.

My only regret is showing you all my ugly ass face, and I'm unshaven. It took place at 6pm and I had to be at work at 7pm. I made it on time though.

I know I've been mostly silent for a long time. I'm sorry, guys. I'll try to be more active on here to make sure Zane's efforts to keep this site alive are not in vain.
I didn't get my tattoos to impress a celebrity. I got them because it represents something very important to me. I have tattoos dedicated to my family members. Street Fighter was always a big part of my life, as a kid, growing up, and well into adulthood. Damian Chapa was in my town celebrating the 30th anniversary of a cult classic film he did called Blood In Blood Out, released in some markets as Bound By Honor.
Do I still hate that god forsaken movie? Yes, but not as much as I once did. Do I still think it was so bad it killed Raul Julia? I believe it was responsible for speeding up his illness, so I guess yes (watch you know who freak out about this comment, shed some more tears; whatever).
But, I can never fault the guy for doing it for the sake of his kids. I still can't stand the butchering of the pronunciation of Ryu's name, Zangief's name, or the fact that T. Hawk is literally referred to with the initial. T Hawk was never Cherokee. The movie is fucking as dumb as a box of rocks. The butchering of Blanka's character. The addition of Sawada. It was literally written in a weekend while Capcom execs were in Los Angeles, and Steven E. de Souza has done way better work, but I have this strange attraction to it. Enough where I bought the damn thing on DVD, and then later in a Steelbook Blu-Ray, not to mention spending 30 bucks on the PS1 version, which are both now signed by Ken himself, Damian Chapa.
I do feel honored Damian was moved enough to get a selfie with me on his personal phone with my Ken ink.
However, he did look a little too excited that the Steelbook Blu-Ray did include inside...a replica Bison dollar.
