Update February 2024

Well, what's new?

My dumbass TikTok is up to almost 4,000 followers. I post usually wrestling shit. It works.

The karaoke business is going great. Every time I host, it's not always packed, but it's full of people who don't just sing, they put on full blown performances. I've gotten people tell me they've only shown up for me. They prefer me over some of the other KJs (karaoke jockeys) in the area. I take that as the ultimate compliment. Of course, you don't get popular without making enemies along the way. One guy who doesn't pull in as good of a crowd as I do thinks he can do better than me. That's why his place is packed...of empty chairs. He's starting to look like a cheap knockoff of me.

My primary job...ugh. On my shift, I'm the guy assigned to training. I've been training people since June. I get paid extra, and it showed on my bonus I just got. I'm trusted. They can depend on me. It gets fucking exhausting.

This is why I hardly post on here nowaday. I'm sorry guys.

But hey, Ed is coming to SF6 in a few days. Not my favorite character, but we got a somewhat, kinda sorta representation of Balrog. I haven't played in a while.

I had a bartender's boyfriend playing at the bar (we're part bar, part arcade) saying nobody can touch him as Ken. Well, me and Ryu had a thing to say about that. I let him win one round. Not a match, a round. After 12-0, he shut up. He's yet to ask for a rematch.

Things are up and down. I'm dealing with acid reflux, self-doubt, and other things, but at the end of the day, nothing can stop me.

Whatever you put your mind to, nothing will stop you with courage, confidence, and conviction.

Not everyone. They still have dumb thoughts about it being "fake." There's a difference between fake and scripted. The risks, injuries, and sometimes rivalries are very real. People have died for this business, became paralyzed for this business. Movies are fake. Wrestling can be very real if you don't know what you're doing.

Also, forgot to mention. I haven't smoked a cigarette since December 4th. I've come close to, but I haven't. I still wanna kill everything in sight.

A lot of the public mall wrestling events are fake but it was still entertaining for everyone to watch especially if it is free. You have a good job. I never get paid extra for training new staff

Those are mostly for show by actors. Public especially mall events don't want to deal with the ambulance and real injuries

Not actors. If you went to a wrestling show like this, this tells me a multitude of things.

1. The people involved in this show are not properly trained, under trained, if at all. You can be a shitty worker and have connections. There still exists third-rate people who offer cut-rate "training" and take people's money and only show them the basics.

2. If it was free to watch, they got paid to display a mediocre product.

3. A lot of promotions try to be family-friendly, to garner a bigger fanbase. It's not for everyone, but it works if done right.

Sorry for the lack of things on my end. It's been a messed up few weeks. Between doctor's visits (not for me), a death in the family, and my overall trying to push it all down and focus on work and hurting myself in the process, It's been a complete clusterfuck.

It's okay, though. I'm gonna be okay, and so will you. Just give me time.
