Met a lot of people since the last post. You can say I'm a busy guy. I love my life. Work hard, play harder. I work my ass off for these oppurtunites and for VIP passes. Most of the mentioned below are from our time at Texas Frightmare Weekend 2019.
Robert Englund. Actor, director. Been dying to meet him. Mostly known for playing Freddy Krueger from 1984 to 2003.
Tim Curry. icon. Known the world over for so many roles. The Rocky Horror Picture Show, Stephen King's It, Legend, Home Alone 2, Nigel Thornberry from The Wild Thornberries, and so many other films. Suffered a stroke in 2012, but is still alive and making appearances. Such a sweet man.
Cassandra Peterson, aka Elvira, Mistress of The Dark. Horror hostess and actress, known for her black beehive hair, tight revealing dress, and big boobs. At the age of 67, she's still hot.
Scott Ian, rhythm guitarist of the legendary metal band Anthrax.
Henry Rollins, lead singer for Black Flag and Rollins Band, actor, author, stand-up comedian/spoken word performer. Currently runs a podcast, and touring all over the world. How this man isn't president, I don't know. Very bright man.
Isaac Singleton Jr., actor. Was in Pirates of The Caribbean, and known as the voice of Sagat from Street Fighter IV and onward.
Tom Savini: actor, but better known as special effects genius.

Funny thing is, he wants to play Freddy one more time. New Line Cinema wants to do a new film series. He told them he doesn't have the time due to his age, or the energy to do a new series.

Be prepared to wait in line long if it is a famous one and there are lots of people. I had to wait in line for over two hours to get autograph of my favorite voice actor

I see regular gay cosplayers like a bearded obese man in a Sailor Moon dress and I see him as a celebrity as he gets more requests for autographs then anyone else at the event

Wasn't your first convention at like a rec center, Kisara?
Most big conventions, due to scheduling and timing, you probably won't be able to do everything you want. That whole Friday was killed for us because of Robert Englund. But that's why we use the buddy system. One goes to the bathroom while the other waits, or gets food, or vice versa.

In this year I've been to two conventions. One at a community center and the other at a near by hotel. Both were considered small ones and there is another one coming up at the end of this month. For all of them I went alone but I still had lots of fun.

We used to go to A-Kon but since they changed the area, and changed ownership, it's been going downhill. There's going to be a comic convention here next month but it's very bush league. Might check it out yet, not sure.
