March was definitely a good month after the delay

We had good airings on Jay month

Yes guys, again thank you very much, and yes Jay Month was good after the delay. We may have to reconsider the 'update' request, when I get announcements - unless we can help Zane, somehow?

But for those looking forward to Akuma's Street Fighter 6 release, I can tell you I bought a shirt featuring him in his classic look. Here's to hoping I can soon wear it, no?

Really excited for the next one

With the sad news about Miss Bardot, yes we can safely resume praying for more airings. Should we dedicate my next airing celebration to her? I'm still a cat person, however until we had to let go of Zane's favourite 'pampered Persian princess' Crystal... mom joked that, if Vega had a cat, then he would catnap Crystal to match Miss Bardot!

Gran agrees with me that, with the exception of my airings last month... the airings -even Santa Claude allowing the much-needed #Justice4Kylie- were likely holding off, because of Miss Bardot. As she was Jay's dog, I feared the "Street Fighter is so bad, it killed Raul Julia" hate trend seriously getting their hands on her, so yes I slept with one eye open for her for my recent celebration!

The point that her frailty lasted throughout a Deadeye Month also had to be considered - so, even with Jay singing that sweet rendition of Jingle Bells to her... I knew not to jump at him with bouncy, cheery Christmas carols, and certainly not to berate him for lack of a happy face at Christmas. I speak from experience when I say this, and I'm not just talking about my cat Raul!

Firstly, there's the point of my avatar, for when the time comes. Should I still use the Vega avatar... or take into account, that again Miss Bardot passed on my ninja birthday? If the latter, I'm still leaning toward the Guy avatar from the pre-uploaded avatar list - were I to look up an avatar of Geki (the claw-wielding ninja from the original Street Fighter), there's no guarantee that the profile will accept it, but I will certainly try...

As for the games I complete, I assume you'll feel I ought to complete a Capcom game first (well obviously, because of Jay's work with them!)? If so, then I'm leaning toward that copy of Strider I picked up, a few days after my recent celebration ended...

Thank you for your opinions, guys. I figured Vega may be the popular choice... but I had to ask, if Guy or any Street Fighter ninja would do.

I wasn't kidding about the 'ninja birthday' thing, though - and you'd think friend and foe alike would find the idea funny...

Another game I plan to put forward, is Zelda 2 (both NES, and GBA ports) - turns out I haven't really done this one yet, as just like the original, it doesn't simply end on the first playthrough. In this case, it has a 'new game plus' which lets you carry all your level-ups (but not heart and jar upgrades).

I had the GBA port as an airing gift, it was one of the games I bought while out shopping on the day before we surrendered my cat Yoshimoto.

The NES version I've had a couple of times before, the first time I bought it brand new, because, well, I was up for the challenge; and not too long after the second time, I remember Master Haruka said something about fighting the Shadow Link boss, and then I had my first two wisdom teeth pulled in Deadeye Month that year.

But now... yes I finally bought it again, it was the game I bought on the day when mom threatened me with my crappy local hospital. I was thrilled to buy this lovely game, and wanted to show it to mom - when she spoiled the mood. Damn, I know! So yes, I will certainly have to prepare it for future airing celebration - though yes, due to my buying it on the day when mom made her sick threat, I have debated on reserving it for when I get #Justice4Kylie...
