Ken Month!

February is Ken Month, because Ken and Kolin's birthday is (of all days) Valentine's Day. I know you may suggest making February Kolin Month, especially because of her Ada Wong costume in Street Fighter 5 - but some peeps said to keep it as Ken Month, because of my late Grandpa Ken (whose birthday was in Balrog Bashing Month, specifically the Resident Evil 2 day September 29). Inevitably, my dad is a Ken main - and so was Donut Lord actually, but I think he just picked him like out of random?

Nothing major this month, among other things Pancake Day this year is on (of all days) Chun Li's birthday instead of in Ken Month - but I can tell you, my new Ryu face mask arrived just now! Let's hope I can wear it soon...

For those who don't get it, I have a recurring nightmare, about a bad ending to a rather dramatic scene from this episode https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mPN2TsQJW5g of my favourite cartoon Bucky O'Hare, the scene begins at about 8:57 into this video; also, the scene appears in issue 13 of the comics. I'm sure we're all relieved, how it turns out all right in the end; and yes, I realise the point of it being a hostage crisis should be a little Damme familiar to us all - but my nightmare is just sick!

I actually first had the nightmare during the NES War - indeed adding to the agony of the situation... and my resolve to win, as I wouldn't let peeps beat me into submission especially after I had such a painful nightmare, which yes I realise could have implied about this lethal missile playing on my mind. Thankfully I won - and would chalk up many wins one way or another, whatever missile anyone threw at me, shockingly including how the nightmare turned out to be recurring. But when I found out about Raul Julia... well, 'nuff said!

Thanks Kisara, but my nightmares aren't THAT dangerous. I usually try and think of a comforting story as I hit the sack, but Gran said something about nightmares being because X negative real life experience plays on Y person's mind - which, again, could explain why I first had the jettison tube nightmare during the NES War. Hell, certain hater attacks here led to me having nightmares - including one person on my ignore list actually wishing for me to have the jettison tube nightmare, and shockingly the wish came true...

Additionally, there is a Native American ornament called a dreamcatcher, which is said to catch bad dreams in its web. I have two of these.

and I think either last night's storm caused a power cut, or maybe Sky was updating their systems? I turned my TV on this morning, and it instantly showed the Sky intro thing...

I don't know what Lemmy might think of this, but a hacker named Gary Bowser -who has been hacking/pirating Nintendo games- has been sentenced to jail time. And yes, there are memes about it.
