Well, again mom insisted on a princess name, preferably after a Disney Princess, when she found me my new kitten last year  . I suppose quite a few of you have, too, been on a Disney binge since I had Jasmine?
Now, I know what you're thinking Lemmy! Sorry, but 'Wendy' (after Princess Wendy O Koopa) was out - please remember, Jasmine is a Street Fighter baby (the fourth one in my family!), and was therefore required to have a Capcom name.

Oh, I should have mentioned yesterday - those of you who might suggest I play a few Christmas games are in for a treat! Also while out shopping yesterday, yes I did buy a few PS1 games... and one of them was The Grinch! I've been looking everywhere for it, and yes the fact I bought it now we're seriously preparing for and anticipating my special month did not go unnoticed - yes, just like mom said "It's the time of year for CastleVania!", when I bought Super CastleVania 4 over Halloween weekend last year.
I can't promise I'll complete it, though, as obviously I need to prepare it (unlockables and all). But I've certainly tested it out, and I like what I've seen so far - so cute! I love how the narrator rhymes, even for the tutorial and all...
Naturally, you can't have the game without the story - so I bought the DVDs of both The Grinch movies (the Jim Carrey one, and the recent animated one) at one of my local supermarkets. They didn't have the classic Grinch cartoon in stock, though, nor could I find the book... so maybe I'll look for them next time I go shopping?
I did ask if The Grinch might be good for my niece Murphy... but mom thinks it might frighten her? I'll take mom's word for it, though I'd still appreciate an opinion from my sister-in-law Charlotte...

Oh yes - that song was used in the Aladdin SNES game (for which I named my kitty Jasmine), too. And of course Friend Like Me, the song by the Genie.
Before you ask, though, no they didn't have ornaments of Jafar (the Aladdin villain) or Ursula (the sea witch from The Little Mermaid). Those two aren't high on the priority list, but I would certainly consider them.
As for other Disney franchises which Capcom got their hands on, well I'm covered for The Nightmare Before Christmas; and there's that Funko figurine I have of Shere Khan, as seen in TaleSpin (which is, basically, the The Jungle Book characters reimagined as an airplane delivery service).
But I'm still looking for Chip 'N' Dale Rescue Rangers, especially because their NES game makes a special appearance in the movie; Scrooge McDuck and his nephews (Duck Tales was my first Capcom game!), and maybe some of the villains from that too; and Darkwing Duck.
Another notable Disney game by Capcom is the NES game Adventures in the Magic Kingdom, which is set in the Disney World theme park and, yes, you get to experience some of the rides - including Pirates of the Caribbean, and the Haunted Mansion ('witch' would be appropriate, if Halloween falls during an airing celebration).
