Thank you both, for your birthday wishes to the late, great Yoshimoto. If he was still with us, he would be 5 now.
Apart from that scary phone call today, prayers to Santa Claude are going well. Signs still seem to look good, but continue to stay alert ok?

Sad that Yoshimoto died too early |
Well, mom said his breeders weren't very nice people... so I wonder if that could have affected his diagnosis of advanced kidney disease?
But yes, he was also the second-biggest case (the biggest case, obviously, being the Queen), of my carrying out the Rainbow Bridge airing security. He was taken ill during an airing celebration, which was especially worrying as he was successor to my cat Raul (who, in a sad irony, had terminal cancer just like Raul Julia) - so losing him on an airing day, or within a final countdown would risk him being targeted with "Street Fighter is so bad, it killed Raul Farrell's successor" trolling! Indeed, all felines of the Raul successorship would require increased military precision, should they take ill for my special occasion.
In fact, it could very well be because of my airing on 'Star Wars Day' May 4 last year... why my dad said he would twist mom's arm, for them to come and check on Yoshimoto later that day - which they did. On the next day, better known as Revenge of the Fifth... Gran would not be too far off-base, with her guesstimate that Yoshimoto could have a chill on his kidneys - not unlike when my parents guesstimated that Mel (who also required the Rainbow Bridge security, when we lost him) could have an upset stomach, but his own diagnosis was a stomach blockage.
Mom only finally vetted Yoshimoto on the morning of Revenge of the 6th, after he showed a more worrying sign than the episodes - and yes, I consented to if we had to let him go that day, as my then-next airing was in five days from then. But the surrender decision was a first for my family - should any of my cats experience a strange illness, unfortunately the vet would typically euthanise them; not to mention, I incorrectly thought surrender would be a legally-enforced option for bad owners, and/or an option for people who couldn't afford the vet bills.
Two days after the airing celebration ended, we had the good news and bad news: Yoshimoto was still alive and thriving in his new home... but he was terminally ill with kidney failure, the symptoms for which including the very thing which finally convinced mom to take him to the vet. I kept in touch with the charity, and yes it was 'safe' when we sadly lost him on July 30 last year.

Christmas decorations and celebrations begin in late November for most stores |
True, but the shops slowly begin to sell them as far back as in Balrog Bashing Month, if not late White Cape Month. But again, if I am to have airings in my special month, then yes at the earliest we can expect an announcement around when Christmas decorations and celebrations really begin.
It was in Hsien-Ko Month 2020, when mom took me to the Christmas warehouse shop to finally get a new tree of my own (don't forget, Blinky and Raul proved true the feline version of "Oh Christmas tree", forcing me to put all Christmas decorations in my games room). As well as simply choosing the tree, and one or two general decorations... I also picked a few exclusive for Santa Claude, including a set of Christmas lights designed like Chinese lanterns...
...And just as I hoped, I could use them that year! Upon getting the announcement for my airing on December 1 that year... the exclusive decorations were up, and all with Kylie's Christmas music playing in the background
