A Christmas music and movie channel has started on Sky, and look what was on this morning: the official video, for Kylie's cover of Santa Baby! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zm925HkXQ-A Honest to god, I thought that video was one of those homebrew things... but it was shown on the channel this morning, so that means rehearsals are on! They did also show a Beatles Christmas song this morning (namely We All Stand Together, by McFartney and the Frog Chorus), so I had to go into YouTube and put on the video for Kylie's cover of Most Wonderful Time of the Year, to remedy that - but as soon as I exited YouTube and returned to the channel... my face lit up, as they showed the video for Santa Baby! I had to go on to YouTube and listen to more Kylie tunes again, after the channel played another Beatles Christmas tune (namely Pipes of Peace, by McFartney) - but as soon as I exited, I caught the last bars of this tune, which yes I then played on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4pPpxsbqxR8 I think it was Raven who said something like, it really will be the most wonderful time of the year if Santa Claude comes to town - how very true, Raven! And again, Most Wonderful Time of the Year seems to be the most common video shown, out of the videos for some of Kylie's Christmas songs 0:-) *************** As you can probably guess, the next phase in anticipating Santa Claude coming to town... is when we begin our prayers to Santa Claude, on dear little Yoshimoto's birthday November 13. This is the next key date to look forward to (besides if -and it's also a very big IF- I have any airings in the meantime, that is). I have also told my old schoolmate and fellow gamer Jeanine, about the rehearsals having begun yesterday - turns out she's a Christmas fan, too, so she's certainly given me her blessing _________________ Your disco needs you! Because Kylie has covered Santa Baby, among her Christmas tunes... then before anyone else says it, does that mean all Santa Claude-exclusive Christmas ornaments -particularly the Lego Street Fighter baubles- are unofficially the famous 'decorations bought at Tiffany's'? And that is before we consider, that there actually is a Capcom character named Tiffany (i.e. the cheerleader from Rival Schools)! There's no guarantee, that the Lego shop will have any Cammy cards in stock - so Gran will get me two packs of Street Fighter movie trading cards, which would reassure peeps anyway... because Kylie is on the packaging for them!
